A couple months ago, we tried to create a protected environment over at FreeKidsMusic.com that we felt would work a little better for everyone. Unfortunately, we ran into some technical issues that prevented this from happening. So while thousands of people had signed up for the new system, we had to switch the registration system off. Our apologies for the hassle and complications. As of today, the cleanup has been completed and the system is fully back online. No registration required. The songs are completely, freely downloadable by everyone.

So feel free to head on over to the recently-redesigned FreeKidsMusic.com and grab some free MP3s for your young kids today!

Two Brand New Sites

We’re proud to announce two brand new sites, built around YouTube videos, but designed for kids. Because of the nature of YouTube, it’s not possible to build absolutely kid-safe sites using video clips sourced there. But we’ve done our best to hand-pick kid-friendly videos, to eliminate comments (because of the unpredictable nature of their content) and to keep as few other outbound links as possible.

Each site has a different theme:

KidFunVid.com features funny videos. From animation to live action…it’s just a site to promote fun and laughter in young children who really want to do their own clicking around on the computer.

KidSongsVid.com features music-driven videos. Some are straight-up music videos from children’s music artists, and others have songs designed for learning with supportive animation.

We hope these sites can serve as a helpful resource for kids and those who love them. En-Joy!
